Why was the woodchuck chucking wood? Was it an ancient rivalry between woodchucks and beavers?
Is that a question worth asking?
Probably not.
So what is Questions Worth Asking?
It’s a social media channel run by The Lighthouse at Efysus. We probe the depths of modern culture using – as the name implies – questions that we think are worth asking. The goal isn’t to arrive at an answer. The goal is to unpack and explore the methodology on how to get to an answer.
So why should you care?
The deeper you look, the better you understand why things are the way they are. Questions Worth Asking is about helping you ask why – to get to the truth, and in turn, empowering you to help somebody else do the same.
Common understanding is essential to a cohesive and functional society. As you have these kind of conversations – where you pick apart not only the question itself but why you think what you think, what your biases are – that is when you begin to understand and discover that we’re all actually not very different from each other.
Glad you’re here.
