What is Peeling the Onion?
It’s a channel run by the Lighthouse at Ephesus where we look at wisdom from Marcus Aurelius and some of the other great stoic philosophers. We unpack observations from the Stoics, see if we think their observation was right, and see if it applies to modern life.
Why should you care?
Stoicism is a more thoughtful, more circumspect approach to life. It brings perspective to a chaotic world by focusing on what we can control. Regardless, thoughts from some of the greatest minds in antiquity are worth contemplating.
