Who are we?
On the darkest night, a single candle radiates a tremendous amount of light, relative to its size. Held high, it becomes a beacon seen from great distances. Increase the number of flames or the size of the fire – you see more and can be seen farther.
Most people care about the world they live in, and you’d find that most of us are in basic agreement on what a good and just world looks like. We just don’t agree on how to get there, and the resulting disagreements and discord between the various sides seems to be growing.
We need to remember that most people are doing their best to navigate the chaos of life. If we give people the benefit of the doubt about their motivations, seek the truth, and refine how we formulate our own opinions, we can work together to fight the chaos.
We established the Lighthouse because we know that people dedicated to seeking the truth, speaking in love, and defending innocence can work together to make ourselves, our homes, and our communities better. Our beacon is lit. We’re here and ready to help light yours.
The Minds Behind The Madness
He’s an electrical technician by trade. She’s an illustrator, animator, and homeschooler. The kids are (usually sweet) agents of chaos.
None of us knew anything about content creation when this whole thing started. We’re learning but still have quite a ways to go.
We follow the calling God set before us. We have no idea where this path will lead or what lies at the end. We live by faith.
